Trust first

How we choose what to recommend

We match by your problem, room, budget, practical constraints and product fit. Commission rates do not decide what we recommend.

We match by fit, not hype.

Recommendations are based on fit, value, ease, trust and available product information. When affiliate links are active, they may earn commission at no extra cost to you, but affiliate availability does not decide the recommendation alone.

What we do

  • Match products to real use cases.
  • Explain why a product fits.
  • Show best for and not for you if guidance.
  • Disclose affiliate links clearly.
  • Include useful recommendations even when no commission is available.

What we do not do

  • We do not rank by commission.
  • We do not publish fake testing claims.
  • We do not hide sponsored placements.
  • We do not use sponsored rankings unless they are clearly marked.
  • We do not turn recommendations into product dumps.
How does the Clever Score work?

The visible score uses fit, value, ease, trust and seasonal relevance. Business metrics do not override user-facing fit.

How do Finders work?

Finders start with the user's context, then map answers to product fit. We only make a Finder active when the matching logic is useful enough to trust.

Do affiliate links affect recommendations?

No. Affiliate links may monetize a recommendation, but they do not determine whether a product deserves to be recommended.

How do affiliate links work?

Some outbound product links may earn MyHomeClever a small commission. The product price is the same for the user.

Why does every product need a not-for-you-if section?

A useful recommendation should also explain its limits. That keeps the product card honest and helps users avoid bad-fit purchases.

Some pages may contain affiliate links. When active, these links may earn MyHomeClever a commission at no extra cost to you. Recommendations are based on fit, value, ease, trust and available product information - not commission alone.

Feedback is welcome: the trust system should get sharper as the platform grows.
